Police looking for woman in connection to robbery where 2 dogs drowned

Amarillo Crime Stoppers needs your help locating Heather Renee McCormick who is wanted out of Potter County for a felony theft over 2,500 and under 30,000.

On January 24, 2018 sometime between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, a person(s) burglarized a residence in the 100 block of Rustic Trail in Rolling Hills. Several hundred dollars’ worth of hand tools and shop equipment were taken from the garage and the family’s 2 dogs were found deceased in home owner’s swimming pool.

It is believed the animals were drowned by the suspect(s) while in the commission of the burglary. The home owners were very distraught over the loss of their family pets and the violation of their home.
