Early Wednesday morning shooting in North Amarillo leaves two wounded


Early Wednesday morning, Amarillo police officers were dispatched to a possible shooting at NW 5th and North Madison Street.

Officers located a vehicle parked in front of a residence at that location with a bullet hole in it. Bullet holes were also located on the residence.

The officers found blood at the scene, but no victims.

At 3:10 am, officers were advised that two victims with gunshot wounds had shown up at a local hospital. A juvenile male and a 20 year old female were suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The two victims were shot at the residence in the 500 block of North Madison. There is no suspect description at this time.
