Two men arrested in connection to North Amarillo shooting

On  Friday, Amarillo Police Department robbery detectives were able to obtain warrants for the suspects of the July 25th shooting in the 2500 block of Poplar Street. Aggravated robbery warrants were issued for Omar Morse, male 25, and Isadore Grant, male 24.

On Friday afternoon Grant and Morse were located at a residence in the 1200 block of north Woodland Street. They were arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.

Shortly after 11 am, officers responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of Poplar street at 11:02. Investigators said two suspects shot a 26-year-old in the upper body. The gunshot victim was taken to a local hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.
