West Texas A&M's John Cummings and Tobias Harris were named to the 2018 D2CCA All-Super Four team released by the Division II Sports Information Directors of American (D2SIDA).

Cummings earned first team honors for the first time in his career with Harris earning second team recognition as they were two of 21 players from the Lone Star Conference to earn all-region honors. Sioux Falls running back Gabriel Watson was named the region's top offensive player while Angelo State's Markus Jones was tabbed as the top defensive player.

Cummings earns all-region honors for the second consecutive season after leading the Lone Star Conference in punting for the third straight year. After earning second team honors as a junior, the fifth-year senior ranks seventh in Division II in punting average (43.3) while putting 35 of his 73 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line.  He had a career long punt of 71 yards in WT's 27-17 victory over Western New Mexico on Sept. 22 in Silver City, N.M.

Harris, the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year, earned second team honors as a cornerback after finishing his first collegiate season with 48 tackles (40 solo, 8 assisted), seven interceptions for 112 yards and two touchdowns. The Pflugervillie, Texas native finished the regular season ranked first in the LSC and third in Division II in interceptions per game (0.6) where he earned All-LSC Honorable Mention recognition.

The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
